Another full house for the CAB Female Sale. Over 250 went through the outstanding lunch sponsored by American AgCredit. The semen topped at $235 per unit on three straws of DHD Traveler 6807 selling to Danny Casillas, Penn Valley, CA. The embryos topped at $650 each on BC Marathon 7022 embryos produced by Silveiras Elba 3307. They were consigned DK Farms, Five Points, CA and sold to Holiday Ranch, Terrebonne, OR. Morning seminars were conducted by Brett Setter, Setter Ultrasound and Chris Gudel, Cargill Nutrition. Cattle sold to 60 buyers from three states. Volume buyer was John Greber, Elk Grove, CA taking home 24 head. Another successful event for breeders, both large and small, who are lacking a viable source to merchandise their female production. Quality and tabulations were in strong demand.
